The PTC Host ID is required only when a feature is restricted to a specific machine or to mulitple machines. The increment line of your license file indicates if your PTC software is node-locked. To enter the PTC Host ID or CPU ID, click Add and enter the appropriate text in the PTC Hostid dialog box.
Note: The PTC Host ID is not required for floating licenses. Floating licenses are distributed by a license server process that runs on a machine.
